This version features precise DV, HDV, DVCPRO HD, XDCAM HD, and Avid DNxHD editing; film editing; full-screen play on a desktop or laptop monitor; myriad effects and compositing features; and real-time HD and HD multi-cam editing.
Avid Media Composer Academic Studio
To allow you to teach an entire video, audio, and animation workflow, this integrated production suite includes Avid Media Composer video editing, DigiDesign Pro Tools 7 audio production, Avid 3D animation, Avid FX compositing and titling, the Mbox 2 audio interface, and Avid DVD by Sonic DVD authorizing. Available only to academic institutions, this software now includes Blu-ray high-definition disk support, along with even sleeker, higher-performance applications. Windows only.
Avid Mojo and Avid Mojo SDI Academic
Avid Mojo and Avid Mojo SDI provide serious versatility and uncompromising performance, but are so compact you can take them on location! They add advanced SD I/O and SD display of down-converted HD, along with real-time output of video and effects simultaneously to both tape and client monitor. They easily connect to Avid Express Pro or Media Composer (laptop or desktop) systems with one IEEE-1394 cable, and Avid Mojo features optional and composite component analog I/O with analog audio. Avid Mojo SDI also includes SDI digital video with eight available channels of embedded audio, plus four channels of AES/EBU audio in and out.
